Elaine received her Bachelor of Music in Education from Southern Adventist University with a major in organ, and double minors in voice and German. She received a Master of Arts from Andrews University with a major in organ. Elaine has taught music education for 31 years from elementary through high school and AARP in conjunction with Queensboro Community College in Queens, New York. She is presently teaching music grades 2 - 5, and choir chime choirs in a gifted elementary school, Old Donation Center, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is the Minister of Music at Norview Presbyterian Church, Norfolk, Virginia, and Chesapeake Seventh-day Adventist Church in Chesapeake, Virginia. She directs handbell choirs at both churches. Elaine is married to Don Myers ( an electrical engineer with the Navy), and has two children - Paul (a policeman) & Dianna (a nurse). Elaine Myers |
