Massanetta Springs Church Music Conference
August 3-8, 2008
Harrisonburg, Va.

The Church Music Conference offers Handbell Classes for Advanced, Intermediate, Beginning and Middle School Ringers, a newly offered 3rd-5th grade ringing class, as well as a handbell reading session. Handbell Clinicians are Bill Mathis and Carolynne Mathis.

St. Matthew's UMC in Annandale, Va. hosts Workshops for grade 3 through adult!

Handbell Workshop for children entering grades 3 – 6
August 18 – 22 (Monday – Friday). 
9 AM - Noon
St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, Annandale, VA

These workshops are designed for children (regardless of their musical or handbell experience) entering grade levels 3-6 in the fall. All children from St Matthews and other churches in the community are welcome to register. Children will have 4 activities daily - two 45-minute rehearsals, music games, art, and a snack.  The cost is $35.  Nancy Cappel and Tammy Freeman will be the handbell directors. 

Handbell Workshop for youth entering grades 7 – 12 and adults
August 18 – 21 (Monday – Thursday)
7 – 9 PM
St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, Annandale, VA

The evening workshop will begin with charts and then ring Levels 1 – 3 during the four evenings. The cost is $35.
