Calling All Ringers! Ring the National Anthem at the Washington Nationals Ballpark!
A mass choir from Handbell Musicians of America Area 3 will perform the National Anthem for the Nationals vs. Phillies Game on Saturday, September 6, 2014. Choirs and individuals are welcomed. The music must be memorized and is available at your favorite music supply (AG36050 Star Spangled Banner arranged by John Behnke). Ticket price will be $40.00 and includes a tee-shirt which will be worn for the event and transportation to and from the ballpark from the mass rehearsal. Family and guest tickets will be available with no transportation to the ballpark. For more information, download the registration form.
Want to post information about upcoming events and concerts? You can find special announcements on the Area 3 Online Calendar. If you have something you want to get rid of, or you are looking for something, and the something is handbell related, then we have the place for you! Check out the Classified Ads. In need of a substitute ringer on short notice? See who’s available in your area on our Substitute Ringer List. Also, through our CHIME loan program, Area 3 offers two 3 octave sets of hand chimes to groups hoping to introduce ringing opportunities in classroom, church and beyond. We also offer a CHIME grant program, supplementing the loan program, that will support the establishment and growth of strong ringing programs throughout schools in the Area 3 region.
